With New Year's resolutions still top of mind, it's a great time to reflect on the past year. I've always gone with the tried-and-true resolutions; get in shape, save more moneyall the usual ones. This year, I've opted to focus more on spending time with family and friends doing the things we love. Our favorite pastime is traveling. You don't necessarily have to travel far to get away for a shared adventure. Try a weekend jaunteven just an overnight stay will recharge your batteries. Or start planning your "big" summer vacation. Now's a great time to begin booking vacation travel plans. Try something different. Never cruised? Go for it! Have you always wanted to visit Europe, Hawaii or Alaska? Don't wait, there's no better time to start planning that great vacation than right now. And the added bonus: It gives you something to look forward to in the upcoming months!
We at AAA Going Places wish each of you happy travels and a healthy 2006.
